My name is Jen Micheletti and I am so glad you’re here!

JOY & LAUGHTER have been my best qualities for as long as I can remember.

Then I realized I actually had a creative talent when I’m holding a camera, so I started a business. And here I am, 13 years later, and I am astounded at how many joyful moments I’ve captured for families & seniors to cherish forever.

I’ve recently coined the term, JOYOGRAPHER, just for funsies. I feel it defines me a bit better within the photography world.

What does that mean? I capture JOY! Whether you’re a Senior or Family, I want to go beyond just photographing you in basic poses, and instead bring out your joyful self and capture the happy of your life.

What does this look like? For families, this will be spinning, twirling, running, skipping, snuggling, tickling and dancing your way through our time together to create a gallery of imperfectly perfect moments. For Seniors, this will be us laughing our way through capturing you being your very best self, and showing off how awesome you are.

Will everyone be looking at the camera in every photo in your gallery? No! If you want a gallery full of everyone looking at the camera, then abort mission now…I’m not the girl for you! Will we get a few basic images and poses? Sure. But my focus is capturing everything you are, inside and out.

I live just outside of Metamora, Illinois with my husband, son and 2 cats. Our little family is the biggest blessing God has ever bestowed upon me. I have my teaching degree from Eastern Illinois University and have previously worked at our local grade school for several years. I am a huge dork who isn’t afraid to look stupid to make you laugh.
